In almost a decade of doing this work, I have learned that some clients benefit the most from my approach to career change and transformative coaching. Are we a fit?

I work with three types of clients:

  • You want to change careers and are not sure what you want to do next
  • You are a leader (of an organization, or a team, or a business) and know something needs to change for you/your org to grow, but are not quite sure what that is or how to go about it
  • You and your team/org/business partners would like some help in how to best work and grow together

You are ready to both deepen your self awareness and take action. And you care about doing good work you love.

My approach – in a nutshell:

You need a combination of deep inner work and smart, strategic action to achieve your goals.

I specialize in working with people at a time of uncertainty and change because of two reasons: I find more traditional coaching approaches do not work when in this situation and I personally find not knowing to be the hardest part of change. If you are like me, you usually can figure out how to get what you want if you know what you want or what needs to be done. It’s when we don’t know that it gets difficult.

One of the most important parts of my work is helping you distinguish between ideas, fears, thoughts and feelings and your true Inner Wisdom. I believe we each have our own inner compass and the more we tune into it, the more we know what to do next, whether it’s a 5-year plan or a go with the Flow approach to the life we are being called to follow.

I am a big believer in the Oneness and interconnectedness of all of Life. And we are each different and unique: I work with you so you can embrace your natural talents and hard won skills, understand what is best for you, and let go of the rest.

Intuition won’t take you very far if you do not take strategic and effective action. One of my superpowers is that I have both street smarts and book smarts. I hate complexity if it’s just to look good. You probably already have way too much on your plate: how can we zero in on what needs to be done, keep it simple, and get you to move powerfully forward in whatever you are pursuing?

This in a nutshell is the power of my approach with Repurpose Your Purpose: inner work + strategic action form a powerful alchemy to help you navigate uncertainty and change to achieve what you want. 

Are you ready to Repurpose Your Purpose?

We could be a particularly good fit if you resonate with one or more of the following:

  • You have a tendency to over work to the point of burnout
  • You tend to see resting as a luxury and are more likely to go from one thing to the next without breaks
  • You are driven to succeed, but sometimes you feel you cannot be yourself for fear of being demeaned or judged. Being driven has been a double edged sword for you
  • You know you can get what you want… now if you only knew what that was!
  • You are good, even great at what you do, but have experienced issues with people, being told you are too competitive, direct, or inconsiderate, etc. You are starting to see that if you want to grow in your career/work and be happy you need to learn more about people dynamics
  • You over give, overwork, care so much about everyone’s feelings to the point of depletion. You have a tendency to focus on other people’s needs more than on your own. You have tried to have better boundaries but somehow you are back to the same patterns
  • You find it difficult to recognize and own your abilities, expertise, and skills. And yet a part of you knows you are perfectly good enough. Why can’t you just believe it?
  • You would like to share your expertise and be recognized for your work, but it feels way too scary
  • When it comes to the next steps, you are stuck going in circles inside your head
  • You are afraid that doing work you love is incompatible with being financially stable or prosperous
  • You are afraid of selling out, having to spend your time on cringey marketing and manipulative sales tactics that you, as a consumer, despise. You feel torn between the desire to work on your business (or to have a business) and the disgust you feel towards a bunch of things you feel you would have to do to be successful

Repurpose Your Purpose is NOT a good fit for you if:

  • You just want to make more money, no matter how
  • You are not ready to take action and just want to “think about it”
  • You are not willing to take personal responsibility
  • You are in dire financial circumstances and need to make money now
  • You are looking for someone to tell you what to do
  • You are looking for a cookie cutter approach
  • You are looking for a resume’ or CV writer
  • You want me to motivate you
  • You expect me to be your accountability buddy.
    While I am happy if our calls provide you with the accountability you need, I will not behave like a micromanaging boss or school teacher checking on your homework. I expect you to be responsible for your work ;)
