My public speaking days go back to … high school! I was scared to death, but still spoke in front of over 800 students who were gathered to elect their school-wide representatives. I lost, but the centerpiece of my proposal – a mini film festival for all the students – was so popular the elected representatives made it happen anyway 😀
I made an award winning short documentary film about student loans and appeared (virtually) at screening events to answer questions from students all over the country. I then hosted an online series of video conversations for architects, and since 2016 I have been speaking publicly and moderating panel discussion in Los Angeles. On my panels, I hosted executives and startup founders from Hulu, Upfront Ventures, NBC Universal, Los Angeles Clean Tech Incubator, Fandango, Two Bit Circus and more.
