MAYA MIDDLEMISS is a tech journalist, consultant and speaker, and the founder of Remote Work Europe, the leading English-language publication on remote work for the European market. She has not worked in an office since 1999 – a quarter of a century of working remotely, long before it had a name. She is the author of the Remote Readiness book series and runs the 70,000-member Remote Work Spain community. She lives in eastern Spain with her family, and does most of her best thinking on the beach or on mountain walks.
